Services

You are here because you, your partner, or your child is hurting, and you’re seeing this expressed under challenging behaviors, negative thoughts, distressing body sensations, or painful relationships. Maybe something happened in the past, which is hard to forget, and now you’re finding it hard to “move on.” You might feel guilty and take that out on yourself or your family. If it’s your child, maybe they’ve been asked to leave school. Counseling is here to help with that. We hold our memories, pain, and negative experiences within our bodies. If you’ve experienced intimate abuse, you might notice that there is great difficulty in maintaining a healthy weight no matter how hard you try. Children survivors of trauma often seem to have ADHD, though it’s a survival skill called hypervigilance. Most people find pain or tension carried somewhere, like the back or shoulders. Therapies such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR allow us to release the memory from our body and relieve these symptoms. The Gottman Relationship Coaching goal is to disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy, respect, and affection, remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy, and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship. Life coaching helps you maximize your full potential and reach your desired results. I am a supportive friend and a trusted adviser rolled into one. I will push you to identify your goals, hold you accountable, and encourage your journey to improve yourself. Please explore the website or contact me for more information. I’m happy to answer any questions you have and offer 50-minute virtual consultations.

Welcome! Whether you had more ups or downs in the last couple of years, they were trying years for everyone. Perhaps they brought new behaviors out of your children or yourself. Maybe it reminded you of past traumas. Many of us have “big T” Traumas like abuse or near-death experiences. We all have some “little t” traumas, like repeatedly feeling rejected by others. Part of us gets stuck when the no-good-dirty-rotten-thing happens, but we don’t have to stay there. You can escape the grip of both Big T and Little T traumas. These no longer have to affect you, your child, the way you parent, or a myriad of other things like weight management.
